Why fuller cups are fabulous (from the women who know)

Full of cup and feeling fabulous? With the launch of our new Rosa fuller-cup bra, we’re celebrating bigger busts with some of our favourite fuller-cup influencers.

Finding the right fit for fuller-cups

Adding another beautiful bra to our fuller-cup range got us thinking about how fabulous bigger boobs can look and feel in the right bra. Finding the right fit is crucial – a bra that fits you beautifully, whatever your cup size, is one you don’t want to ditch as soon as you get home.

To ensure you find the right fit, book a session with a professional bra fitter. Many of our stockists are trained fitters and can provide additional expert advice on fitting for post-surgery, pregnancy and nursing, and for any fuller-cup issues.

But sometimes, having bigger breasts can feel like a (literal) burden, particularly if you don’t know how best to deal with them. So, we asked a couple of our favourite fuller-cup ladies to share their thoughts on choosing bras for bigger boobs…

On Instagram, Carly (@x_carlyloves_x) is all about encouraging self-love and confidence through plus size clothing and fuller-cup lingerie. But even she sometimes finds it frustrating to shop for a bigger bust, saying, “It’s hard to find something both pretty and comfortable. Thin bands don’t offer enough weight support – thicker bands are much more comfortable, especially for myself, and it looks much smoother on the back through clothing.”

If you’re struggling to find the right bra for your larger size, she advises, “Talk to the professionals, get measured and invest in quality. A great fitting bra makes me feel confident, comfortable, content and ready to take on the day!”

Freen, ‘The Fuller Bust Fixer’ on Instagram (@freens_favourites), also feels that a great fitting bra gives her a confidence boost for the day, but admits shopping for fuller-cup sizes can be a challenge.

“There can be a lack of choice or a pick of ugly and unflattering styles, and bigger bras are sometimes very expensive. A lack of knowledge from some fitters is also frustrating,” she says.

Freen recommends, “Find a reputable fitter and a company that specialises in bigger cup bras. Follow fuller bust accounts on social media for recommendations, then shop around and try different styles that work for you and your shape.” (Don’t forget, Royce stockists are experts in fitting bras, whatever your size, so are a good bet.)
