Throughout this Covid pandemic all of us have experienced some form of isolation. But from isolation has come an almost stronger push back – an extra effort to connect. As Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues, we’re reminded that many women facing breast surgery will need to self-isolate, which makes day-to-day life difficult and often lonely.

We want you to know – we’re here for you. We love connecting with our customers, both loyal followers and new fans. Say hello on our social media feeds; Facebook & Instagram and join in the conversation with our warm, friendly and funny community of women.

But sometimes the simplest way to feel connected at a time of isolation, is over the good old-fashioned telephone. At Royce, we love to chat to our customers over the phone – it’s often the quickest way to give advice and solve problems. And, at a time when visiting a professional bra fitter in person isn’t possible, we’re experts at remote fitting: our design team are brilliant at assessing your bra size via a quick chat over the phone. Not convinced? Test them! There will be someone ready to take your call from Mon-Thur, 9am to 5pm and Friday, 9am – 3pm on 01295 265557. Or you can email [email protected] adding your telephone number and one of our designers will call you back.

Social distancing has obviously had an effect on how we operate at Royce Lingerie, but as a small, family-run firm we’re pretty good at adapting to change. Many of us are keeping the Royce show on the road via our home offices, but we also take it in turns to work from Royce HQ in Banbury – we are ready to take your calls! So, give us a ring and you could be speaking to

What’s your favourite thing about working for Royce?

Experiencing our customers’ happiness and joy when they FINALLY find a bra that fits them, offering great support and shape, especially women who have had breast cancer or breast surgery. Their feedback makes my job feel so special.

What’s your number one piece of advice for women shopping for lingerie?

A lot of women think ALL the support of your bra comes from the straps, but it does not! 80% of the support comes from a firm and well-fitted underband. And yes, it is VERY common to have one breast bigger than the other!

What’s the most common customer query you receive?

Most common query I get is, “Can a wirefree bra give me the correct support?” The answer is…YES! Once you try a wirefree bra, you will never go back!

What’s your favourite thing about working for Royce?

Some women don’t discover Royce until they are due for surgery because of breast cancer. Although this a really difficult time in a woman’s life the fact that a Royce bra could make that process just a little bit easier, and knowing that we have supported them (often in more ways than one), is great. It makes me really proud to be working for them.

What’s your number one piece of advice for women shopping for lingerie?

A 32D is VERY different to a 36D! This is something that really surprised me when I started at Royce. I just assumed the D cup would be the same with any band size. Oh, how wrong I was… As the band gets bigger so does the cup! So, if you need go down a band size if it’s too tight, you also need to adjust the cup size. It’s a little confusing but we’ve put together a ‘sister sizing’ guide which explains all.
